Well this is lovely to see! The Marinaro Lounge! I wonder if Ashton had anything to do with the name? It’s brilliant to see reinvestment in Ipswich, probably spurred by ITFC’s ownership group.
So, I have a few ideas. How ‘bout Beattie’s Burgers…or the Fisherman’s Wark?
Beattie’s Burger: 1/4 pound beef burger, topped with Stilton blue cheese and caramelized onions infused with brown sugar. Smoked bacon, fried egg and shredded lettuce with flashed fried tomatoes.
Skin on chips with chili/tzazidki sauce and a splash of lime juice.
Fisherman’s Wark: Seafood platter, blackened cod with dill cream sauce. Large fried shrimp with coconut batter and fresh crab cakes. New potatoes boiled with mint leaves and seared leeks in white wine and garlic.
