Wolves pair told they can go

Wolves are looking to trim their squad and are willing to let Cameron exit Molineux on a free transfer.

Glenn Hoddle has told Cameron they will not stand in his way if he can find a new club during this month's transfer window.

The player's agent Jim McArthur revealed Wolves had handed Cameron a free transfer and that a number of clubs are keen on his signature.

"Glenn Hoddle informed myself and Colin that he can leave the club," McArthur told skysports.com.

"They are willing to let him leave on a free transfer if he can find himself another club this month.

"If not, Colin will continue to fight for his place at Molineux.

"There are number of Championship clubs and some Scottish sides who are interested in Colin."

Former Wolves boss Dave Jones is thought to be leading the chase to sign Cameron, as he would like to be reunited with him at Cardiff City.

Another Wolves player to be told to look for pastures new by Hoddle is goalkeeper Paul Jones.

The 38-year-old has not played for Wolves since September 2004 and has spent time on loan at Championship rivals Millwall.

With Michael Oakes and Stefan Postma ahead in the custodial pecking order, Hoddle has allowed the Wales international to find a new club during this month's transfer window.

"I've spoken to Paul and we both agreed he needs to get out and play football," admitted the former England manager.

"His contract's up at the end of the season and there have been inquiries for him."
Paul Jones good signing? IMO we need an experienced keeper

Colin Cameron is a decent player isnt he ? Surely worth a look for a free transfer.
