Doesn't do enough from open play to warrant a start in every match and never being substituted, however he always has it in him to produce that crucial ball from set pieces, which shows from the number of assists he has.
However i'd much prefer to see Westlake or Richards take his place, Currie isn't consistent enough and offers us nothing regarding defence.

I've never seen such a slow player in all my life. (I dont mean speed wise because Magilton wins that) but I mean footwork. He cant seem to do anything quickly, it really is like watching a player in slow motion.
He isnt a bad championship player, but I'd rather have Westlake, Garvan, Juan and Williams in my midfield.

currie plays poor for 90% of the game in my opinion, gives the ball away, try's to do to much with the ball etc etc.
but for that one maybe crucial moment in the game he CAN produce a magic ball into the box that leads to something,
he's an exciting player to watch when he's on form but sadly for me not often enough,i'd prefer to see him on the bench, coming on late maybe.....then he can try his christiano ronaldo tricks

If Currie doesn't play, especially at home we have little chance of scoring simple as that
The likes of Juan,Westlake, Garvan, Williams are all too similar and dont create enough chances IMO Currie has set up probably half our goals

This IMO is a sh*t poll.
As it lacks what Currie actually is...
He isnt the "saviour" and he isnt sh*te...
He is just mr average who under performs and lets face it if it wasnt for his ability to hit the fianl pass then he wouldnt be in the team.
Also if we could afford this wonderfull midfeilder that tackles puts in the assists and scores goals then by all means il keep my mouth shut.
But as the saying goes beggers cannot be choosers
Currie does a job and he does it well
He lets himself down alot, But people need to take him for what he is. A inconssistant player, Whos only consistancy is setting up goals
Just for bluebird...
I know he is a tart who cant tackle

I always thought that Currie was useful to have on the park for set-plays, corners etc. Didn't think he looked bad with the ball at his feet either.
However with the rising Jimmy Juan it may be curtains, I would be playing Juan, Peters, Magilton and Westlake all ahead of Currie. Currie was a good buy, and is definitely useful to have in the squad.
