Referee?

Post by phily bon bon » Mon Feb 06, 2006 9:42 am

Was he the biggest tw*t in the world or what.Remember what sito got sent off for in the home game then think of flemmings kung fu kick and he never even got a card  ,some of the tackling was a disgrace and someone could have easily had a leg broken.........justice was done in the end.
If thats the standard of refereeing then I can see why players and managers lose the plot sometimes.

Just thinking along that vein this morning, I was wondering what would happen if we got into the playoff final but were denied the win because of a dodgy refereeing decision. Does anyone know where they get the referees from for those games?

I understand it was his first Championship game. I couldn't believe they would give a new ref a derby game. There was bound to be controversy (especially with a cheat like Huckerby playing!!). The ref made some really bad decisions but the idiots running the line didn't have much idea either.

What annoyed me more was the linesman that was right in front of us Town fans. He seemed so scared to give anything to Ipswich, I swear he was being paid!!!

It wasnt his first championship game. He refereed us in the Wolves game im so led to believe where we got a dodgy penalty.
