Zero Tolerence policy on Norwich troublemakers

Post by toby » Sun Feb 05, 2006 12:15 pm

Just to make everyone aware that I'm not messing about today with regard to Norwich troublemakers, not today.

Today is a day for all Ipswich fans to enjoy and for Norwich fans to f*ck off to your own boards to moan about Worthington, or go down the pub and drown your sorrows.

As everyone on here knows I am not an unreasonable man but Norwich fans, calm down and post sensibly or preferably, for today especially, don't post at all.

Agreed Toby - I set this forum up because of all the crap that the budgies posted on Town Talk, so I'm glad to say this a budgie free zone!

Tut, tut...

Not all of us are loud mouthed neanderthals. Don't you think you're generalising a little?

Now I am yellow and green through and through , as you might have gathered, but far be it from me to come and ruin your message boards with abuse and profanity..

Frankly we were cr@p yesterday and you were better. There, I've said it. You looked more likely to score and even though the winner was A BLATANT HANDBALL....you probably deserved it on balance.

But please don't make the mistake of assuming there are none of us on here...

Someone's got to keep an eye on what you're all talking about..

With respect OTBC... The message was put up by one of our admin
because of what was happening at the time.. And he posted
this thread as a result of that. He clearly indicated he did not want
and I re quote 'Trouble makers' There have been a few NCFC fans on here before and after the message was posted, And are still
here today so that clarifies the point that we do not see 'All of you
as loud mouthed neanderthals...'

Secondly, I have seen the video of Haynes handball over and over
again and you too can see it from one of the links that has
been posted up on our board. Its the Sky replays and if you
look at the third replay of Haynes goal. In my opinion it looks like he had to duck from the 'Docs' boot coming in and that in itself caused the ball
to come of his arm. I accept that it went in off the arm but no way
was it BLATANT..

Cheers Earl and PBB, to clarify things a little more...I have no problem with Norwich fans coming on here to post intelligently and even in a fairly forthright manner but at that particular moment, a moment of rare triumph for Town fans in recent times, I didn't want NCFC fans coming on and just throwing sh*t around, stirring things up.

I am not a believer in censorship but as the only admin present at that particular time I took the decision to be quite harsh and restrict some of the opposition posters who had signed up on here purely to have a go and stir up a fight in our moment of victory.

I stand by my actions and would do it again, however now things have calmed down I have no problem with NCFC fans posting on here, providing, as I say, they do so in a clam andf responsible manner.

I would also like to say that I'd expect the Town fans on here to be curteous (within reason!) and polite.

:D

Hope this clarifies my position!

Agreed. They were racist comments from Norwich fans asking us how many bananas we pay our cheating chimp (Haynes). Its totally shocking, not only does it go un-notice idiots like that go unpunished.

And TWTD isnt much better, it seems to be our own fans who think its "cool" to swear and its not pleasent to read, its like being in a school playground sometimes.

I'm glad we have a nice home here!
