Does anyone else think he had a great second half when he came on? Don't know if anyone else felt this way but Wilnis looked a bit sluggish and off the pace to me today. Sito got up and down the right wing really well and worked well with the midfield.

With Westlake looking a bit lost on the right wing maybe Sito would be an idea to try on the right of midfield at Crewe if Wilnis is to stay in the starting XI?

Thoughts?

I thought Sito had a great game, he is unlucky not to be able to get in the starting line up, but Fabian (& Barron) have been playing quite well lately. I would have loved to have seen him score from his shot on goal..... had visions of him doing a "Herminator" into the crowd, lol

Sito was admirable on the right,I agree that without williams, sito at right side midfield could be an option,he has pace and holds the ball well. Naylor up front is not an option,If Royle wanted some extra presance up front with Lee,he should of used what he had on the bench,Peters or Mini-mac.I'm looking towards and end of season partnership of Lee and a returning Parking comming into a squad of players high on confidence,I do believe that the old parkin of Swindon will be here to be loved and admired by us all....Enjoy your season and see ya awl at crewe!!!

Fabian had a good game i thought covering for Naylor most of the first half i do think Naylor is our weakest part in our team.

I've said that for many a time that despite Naylor's undoubted dedication and determination, the lad is always prone to mistakes.

I don't think that there is any of our five main defenders, that do not deserve to be playing first team football. I would prefer to see Bam Bam at left back, Fab and De Vos in the centre, with Wilnis at Right back and Barron on the bench. It is close but I think Sito just nicks it ahead of Barron in the starting line-up

Lewis, Did not really focus on Wilnis yesterday, but LOVED one
of the shouts he called out. You could have probably heard
it outside PR..

As for the rest of your comments, Yes I agree.. Sito was
abso great when he came on and totally up for it. I think I
said to you yesterday would be interesting to see sito in Midfield.

Lewis, Forget midfield for a moment. One out of my
insane head. How do you think Sito may link up if he was played
just behind Lee. Assuming we dont get a loan striker in next
couple of days, Joe would obviously want a 4 - 5 -1

???

I think he'd be an interesting bet behind Lee that's for sure. He certainly loves the attacking side to the game more than the defensive and he has a great engine to link the play between the midfield and Lee. But I guess we'll never get the chance to find out as Joe isn't one for experimenting much :(

Sorry folks but this IMHO is cobblers.

In the first half Naylor was the best defender by a mile, De Vos was having a shocker and was regularly losing his man, have you forgotten Naylors last ditch tackle to get De Vos out of the sh*te?

I thought moving Naylor upfront was a big mistake at the time but luckily De Vos stepped up his game and had a great 2nd half and Naylor put himself about upfront which gave Lee more space to do his damage.

Apart from one horrendous "air kick" I thought Wilnis did ok at centreback and Sito was fantastic when he came on.

At halftime yesterday I'd have agreed with you, I wanted peters and Lee ( ) upfront, but after seeing the 2nd half I'd say that Royle's move was inspired.

Naylor did an effective job and took some of the weight of of Lee's shoulders which allowed him to flourish.

We can all speculate on what might have happened if Peters or Mini-Mac had come on but the reality is that we were 1-0 down, Royle changed things around and we won 2-1, what more do you want a manager to do?
