He scored against us in March 2002 in the 2-2 draw at St James Park.
Remember the game well as I nearly got thrown out by a Newcastle steward. :lol:
It was the game where he missed the last minute penalty.

Whenever I think of Shearer it always reminds me of the time we beat Blackburn in the FA Cup 3rd round replay at Ewood Park in Jan 96.
Richard Wrights performance that night was as good as I've ever seen from a goalkeeper.

That was a classic!!! Thanks to the steward I had to watch him miss the penalty on the tv near the refreshment area (long story so won't go into it now).
There were all these geordies standing around and when he missed it I yelled out YES!!! Better still I actually lived to tell the tale. :lol:
