What did everyone think of Richards? Personally I thought he had a terrible game and I was calling for him to be taken off. Saying that, was a fantastic penalty though.

Was I being harsh or was everything he touching going out of play?

Not his best game, his passing the final ball was poor and let him down, got back well though to help with the defence when required.Took complete control for the penalty and for that you have to admire him.

I thought he had a solid enough game and was impressed with some of his interplay with Scott Barron.

Maybe you guys are a little more harsh on him because you've seen more of him than me recently and by all accounts he's been playing superbly?

I definately think he's a better player than Westlake at the moment and to an extent I agree with Toby....it was definately a solid performance and he does work really well with Barron as they are able to swap positions. However, it was probably his worst game for a while...some of his passing and shots were rubbish. But he kept his cool for the penalty very well... 8)

I thought he had a terrible game as well, wondered at one point if he was carrying an injury - looked nervous throughout and had none of that confidence he was oozing against Leeds.

yeah he was pretty poor. I was dreading him taking the penalty because he had skied a load of shots yesterday, but it was well taken.

Hmm i thought Richards and Barrens play together wasnt that great :?

Yes they did swap positions naturally which is good i guess, but to me at times it seemed like they thought that they where the only two on the pitch

PLUS their passing together was terrible at times!!

Richards had a poor game on Saturday his shots were going wayward and he's passing wasn't 100%. But I have to admit he did keep a cool head for the penality

I think thats the point. Compared to his peformances of late, he was poor on Saturday.

But credit to him for putting the penalty away.
