Town will have to wait 24 hours before knowing the extent of the hamstring injury that forced Alan Lee off in the first-half of the 2-1 win at Crewe.
The Republic of Ireland international scored his fourth goal in six games since joining the Club in January as Joe Royle's side came back from a goal down to win for the third successive match.
Alan will have a scan on Wednesday and told the Club website: "We will see then where we stand.
"It's been bothering me a little over the last game or two and I felt it stiffening up so there was no option but to come off.
"It eased after I had a shower and now it's a case of waiting to see what the scan shows up."
Town physio Dave Williams added: "There is no point in guessing what the damage is at this stage.
"We'll have a look at the scans and go from there but obviously the fact that Alan has come off makes him doubtful for the weekend."
