Town will be missing Richard Naylor for Saturday's visit to Crystal Palace if referee Eddie Ilderton sticks by his decision to send off the defender in the defeat at Preston.
The official has agreed to take a look at the video of the incident that saw Bam Bam dismissed for a professional foul on Brett Ormerod at Deepdale.
If the red card stands, the Town defender will serve an immediate suspension ruling him out of the Palace game.
The red card was Town's fifth of the season but Sito had his ruling against Norwich rescinded while Blues lost out on an appeal over Fabian Wilnis' dismissal at Cardiff.
Bam Bam also saw red at Millwall in August in another highly controversial decision.
Town could also be missing Jimmy Juan against Palace. The midfielder was substituted in the first-half at Preston with a recurrence of his groin injury.

At the end of the day I don't mind if Bam Bam is missing. The damage has been done twice this season where we have a man sent off early on.
The fact that we win appeals is just disgusting if you ask me. Why the hell are appeals being won so often. Surely that says something about the refereeing?
Being a referee myself, I have worked hard to keep up my fitness and keep refreshing myself with the small rules of the game so I can always explain my decisions.
Without red cards against Norwich and Preston, I don't know exactly, but I would claim we would have won both games. Add six points on to our current total (and take away 3 from Norwich and Preston) and you begin to see what those red cards have cost us this season.
Credit to the referee for having the 'balls' to send a guy off that early on, but if we get Bam Bam back on appeal. Something else is up with the game I love.

We seem to get more than our share of bad referees don't we? Like you say, there's something wrong with the system if a red card is given and then rescinded because by then the damage is done. Surely in the case of a rescinded red card the game should be replayed in order for the over-turning of the decision to send the player off in the first place to have any meaning. Three points are lost and there's no way of getting THEM back again! I had to smile when listening to Joe Royle's interview after the Preston match when he pointed out that Preston had had the very same ref 7 times this season and they had won ALL SEVEN GAMES!!!!! Just coincidence I wonder???? Well done lads...........I'll be at Crystal Palace to cheer you on on Saturday. COME ON YOU BLUES!!!!!!!Aza-itfc wrote:At the end of the day I don't mind if Bam Bam is missing. The damage has been done twice this season where we have a man sent off early on.
