Richard Naylor's appeal over his red card at Preston has been rejected by the Football Disciplinary panel and he will serve a two match ban.
Bam Bam was sent-off for a professional foul just 11 minutes into the 3-1 defeat at Deepdale after clashing with Brett Ormerod.
Richard was also dismissed in controversial circumstances in the win at Millwall in August and with two red cards to his name this season he will now miss the visit to Crystal Palace on Saturday and the home game against Hull next weekend.

You're right it wasn't a penalty...........Was a free kickTim wrote:shocking!!!!
No way was that a penalty imo, just a good old fashioned shoulder barge/ dive

And the problem with the appeal is the contact is there, even if it is minimal, whilst i wouldn't call it a red card challenge, there was never gonna be a chance of getting it rescinded.

If you look at it closely, Ormerod was going down before Naylor touched him. Also Ormerod had mis-judged his touch and the ball was going way off to the side. Even if he did manage to get to the ball before Supple did he would not have been in a very good position to shootsquiz18 wrote:TBH i think it was a fair enough sending off. Naylor clumsily clatered into him and i dont think the ref could do anything other than sedn him off. Hopefully Casement will play on saturday. Throw him in at the deepend

Well ive only seen it once and that wasnt slowed down or zoomed in so maybe is houldnt really be judging ! . But as i saw it in real time it was a sending off and i suppose thats a similar situation to the refjjlj_itfc4eva wrote:If you look at it closely, Ormerod was going down before Naylor touched him. I did not see the clip of the tackle, but on the Radio our commentator
was going mental, absolutely sure that it was not a foul and that the
referee should have taken the condition of the ground nto consideration
as well..
Ohh well whatever he is gonna mss the next 2 games and I for one
wouldbe more than happy to see one of thenext level of players
filling the role. And if De Vos is out (I reckon he will soldieron),
then so be it. It is what it is. But with a good midfield and attack
hence not making t game too defensive then we might get to see
what th future holds for us.
Sometimes these thngs are blessings in disguise, and if you
believe that then your crazie than me..
