What annoys me with the likes of Charlton is that in reality they have picked up all our former players for Peanuts.

Bent apart, you can only say we have seen £2m from them if that???

Ok so we aren't going to be selling youngsters, but we all know everyone has a price - if Charlton or anyone else want one or some of our players - put extremely high price tags on them. £7m for garvan??? If clubs want them that badly they will pay well for them. If they are sniffing for a bargain then they can go sniff elsewhere!!!

Don't worry I'm sure Sheepy will until Curbishley offers Matt Holland in exchange for both of them!

Is this man the worst reporter of all time? Why the hell would Charlton want De Vos? Whoever's tipping him off must be having a right laugh

Exactly, but as we know when it comes to selling players our record on fees does not compare favourably with other clubs.
As I have said before, despite what we say about that lot up the A140 their board said they wanted £7 million for Ashton and in the end got it. If it had been our board selling him I wonder if they would have had the balls to hold out for what they wanted?
Just hope that when players like Garvan & Supple leave us (which will happen at some point) then the board for once manage to get a decent fee for them. However, I'm not putting any money on it!!!
