Just been to see the Oxford match against Orient this afternoon.
Unlucky to go down IMO, but most people there blamed Kassam.
The police were the worst part though, more there than at the Derby at Carrot Road. I was in row B and the police were standing up right in front of the boards, so I had to stand on my seat! And they were taking photos and videoing.
Do you guys think they deserved to go down?
Are there too many police at footy matches?

I think so, rumour was there would be Swindon fans in the stand I was in but that wasn't true and people did try to get on the pitch. Some succeeded and others got arrested or pushed back!

As Oxford are my second team I am really sad that they have gone down. I am convinced that they will rise again next year. Jim Smith is just what they need at the moment. At one time I thought that Jim Magilton would be taking on that job. He has always had a soft spot for Oxford and told me that he would have loved to have been offered it.

Strange to think that when Accrington had to resign from the league that they were replaced by Oxford and here they go 44 years later swapping places
Not a nice thing to happen to a town, but if they can hold onto their players they will have a good chance of bouncing straight back up.

I think Oxford will come straight back up. It is only a few seasons ago when they were in the same league as us.Shame they went down

its not easy to bounce straight back up, look at the former league clubs in the conference, Exeter, Hereford, York, Cambridge to name a few, and Scarborough were relegated from the conference this season as well, although because Oxford have Jim Smith in charge im sure they'll be right up there next season, just glad Torquay had got themselves virtually safe last week with a win at Carlisle

All of my Oxford supporting friends think they'll come back up as champions but i'm not so sure.
It sold out on tuesday afternoon and i'm sure I could have sold my ticket for at least £50 on the day!

Can be done though.
The season that both Chester and Shrewsbury went down was depressing - obviously, live in Chester - followed Shrewsbury for years (uncle used to play for them), but they both came straight back up - so all does not have to be doom and gloom.

As an oxford fan whos dad is an ips s.t.h. and i live in crewe this season is probably the worst ive ever seen went to the game saturday and the policing was over the top but just to clarify it wasnt about swindon being in the stand it was because there had been rumours which turned out to be true i think that west ham had come up for the day. too many away fans allocated if you ask me. At least lowestoft won the league but can anyone enlight me on weather they done the treble (my grandad used to coach them) its my only glimmer of hope this year and there my 5th team Football cant get worse than this !!
my 4th team is kings lynn i used to live in lynn and they lost in the play offs!!!
