You need another option: Yes, because we already have cover in that area.

Santos has been a MotM for us a few times, especially during the good run we had last year. Elliott would be more useful for the rest of this season but remember he is two years older than Santos, who himself is no spring chicken. I say hang on to Santos. Loan him out if we can for now.

I am shocked at everyone...
Against PNE him and McGreal played outstandingly and everyone was singing his praises and saying we've finally got a great patnership
And now a few weeks later everyones ready to see him pack his bags and go...
I just dont get it...

Like I said earlier, I think people have been guilty of kidding themselves into thinking Santos is a rock and the answer to our problems. It's quite clear he isnt when you take a look at the Goals Conceded column.
I'd much rather see young Aidan Collins or Gerard Nash coming through and learning their trade alongside someone like Matt Elliott than pray Santos doesnt bodycheck all and sundry.
At the PNE game I thought he was very lucky on occasions not to be penalised for late pushes and checks on Ricardo Fuller, it was only because he got away with them that we were safe.

Agreed, there isn't a choice that I can make in the poll.
