So our two closest rivals for a top 2 place have both lost key / pivotal players. Good news isn’t it. 👍

I see we’ve recalled Broadhead from his Wigan loan.

Word is he’s off to you guys on a permanent.

He’ll do ok for you I’m sure. He works his socks off.
Fits the McKenna type of player then. Hope this happens. 👍

Good luck for rest of the season btw. Can you see your manager seeing the season out?
No chance mate. He’ll be gone this week or soon after we lose to Saints next Saturday.

But we don’t hate him. Nobody could deal with the hand he’s been dealt. Richarlison saved us last season and was “replaced” with Maupay and McNeil. It’s an impossible job sadly.

Until Bill and the board do one we’ll be seeing you guys sooner rather than later.

we need better back up up front. starting front 3 vs lincoln has 7 goals between them. kayden just has to go, cant keep giving him time at his age. there are tons of decent strikers around europe who would come for decent pay who can push for 1st team spot.

That is actually really good news......, showing masses of ambition. BIG signing. Hopefully he stays fit and makes a huge impact. Well done M.Ash.

Well......, the wording certainly says, "he'd favour a return" but it'll definitely just be a case of "Black Cats or Tractors? Preferably Black Cats, but doesn't matter, Tractors will do....."

......, otherwise ----->> A MILLION QUID?? ---->> Mark Ashton the fk OUT!

Got to hope he doesn't sign a player who doesn't want to be at the club.

This Morgan Whittaker scenario seems to be dragging its heals a tad, probably going to be one of those possible signings that go right to the wire, also still no mention of another Centre Back come on Ashton and McKenna get Morrison down here for a trial period or at least have a conversation with him to see where in the Country he wants to play, but don't stop looking for this vital defensive requirement

Alan Myers, who gets a lot of Everton stuff said Broadhead is in Ipswich now to complete the deal.

Really hope he shines for you.

Well done today too. Hate Rotherham.

Watching the Wednesday v Newcastle cup tie, Mark McGuiness has been a colossus for Sheffield. On that evidence they will really miss him when he goes back to Cardiff.

This looks all so promising, Hurst and Broadhead, take it this means no Whittaker now? Thing is do we really need the two of them? Do feel for Freddie and KJ, wonder how they will respond to this.

All we need a quality CB and it will be a great result, really looking forward to seeing how we fair now.

With two players well on the way to score 20 goals this season why do we need two forwards unless Broadhead us going to be used as a winger if so what does that say for Edwards and maybe Jackson.

I was saying to Mike b4 the game, that Whittaker is behaving like a spilt brat. Throwing a bit of a tantrum because he was called back to Swansea, which some reports state that Plymouth fans (him?) is blaming us for!! Presumably because we’ve shown an interest in him. He won’t sign for us I’m convinced of that now. He might just come to regret that.

whats the chances of him going back there Liz? im hoping some championship club in for him tbh.

He reminds me in a way of how Simpson behaved, either way it could of put a spanner in Plymouths promotion push which is such a shame, let me pause for my kleenex.

Also im contemplating trying to make the Sheff Weds game in Feb, thats if you and Mike are about?

Is there any actual evidence of Whittaker throwing a wobbly? Any chance of posting his comments on here…… struggling to find anything.

Is him voicing his displeasure at being recalled after being a major piece in Plymouths top spot “the wobbly”?

I think it is Marko.

The term wobbly or in vulgar terms 'pissed', this is the nickname of the famous German beer 'Warsteiner', where if you have a few you become 'wobbly' lol.

We can sign all the strikers we like but without another CB it will mean nothing, we scored 4 today and still a defensive f*ck up gave away a goal, we just can't help ourselves, we don't need bloody strikers.

:D Germans and their beer. Fairly sure thats what they were on pre-Dunkirk when they decided, “Nein, lets go over here!”
(Thank fk they did!)

Maybe Whittaker was on some draught Becks? Feckin rocket fuel. 4 pints and lamp posts move!

Other than that pen situation….. how were the defence today? Bum squeaky or assured?

Edmundson was ropey once or twice, Davis was lost upfield when they broke and scored but luckily the flag was up, that was at 0-0, aside from that we were ok but the fact remains its another game where we gifted a goal, do it next week and we lose.

I keep saying it but for me yes we have 2 players who can score bjt beyond that it’s a bit thin, against Lincoln we really didn’t have many goals on the pitch wkth the starting XI and it showed during the game. Even if those we bring in only get 10-15 goals it might be the difference over the season.
