Agree. Probably would get a very low fee for Hladkey so ideally whenever comes in needs to be a free and on low ish wages.

Think overall we just need to be patient, the season started earlier last year due to the winter World Cup so things had happened sooner. Most clubs aren’t in pre season yet etc.

I think Leicester’s regrouping issues ( new manager players outgoing, who to keep etc) will mean they’re probably not open to discussing Hirst just yet. Which means we may have moved on…. Eg Simms?

Things must start happening soon as the club ate back at pre season training tomorrow, the more time they have together as a group is definitely more beneficial. I am expecting some news in the next week.

If we find ourselves in play offs and nothing much added to our squad..we may not have then the quality for final push plus we will have injuries .plus let's jst say hypothetically we got promoted on our current squad with one or two additions ..how many then would hack it in premiership..we talking about 4 or 5 the most a total rebuild for premier ship them.and we all know about that word...GEL which has cost us before..so.all I'm.sayin is .if we have serious intentions of really going for it this season..5 to 6 championship players needed in and some with premier ship experience

...and we may well get them! Just need to be patient and trust the leadership. I called you out on negativity mid way through last season, Denny when you thought it was all doom and gloom but it came good. No reason to panic in June! They have got us this far and surprised us (positively) with transfers in the recent past so why not let them do their jobs now. Keep the faith. COYB's!

Some fans may have serious intentions in their heads that will no doubt cause unrest and will be a pain in the arse for Kieron......., but I'd be astonished if the clubs 23/24 "objective" is promotion. Mid to higher table and top 6 a bonus.
Basically ---->> PROVE the club are the real deal and that will attract the types you speak of. The club have just spent 3 seasons in League One.

I think it's as notable how few we have released as it is how many we have (not yet) signed. The entire team, with the exception of our loanee strikers, is intact and ready to go. I doubt there's anyone here who doesn't think we need reinforcements but we could put out a competitive team today, not too many other Championship clubs will be in that position right now.

I think it's as notable how few we have released as it is how many we have (not yet) signed. The entire team, with the exception of our loanee strikers, is intact and ready to go. I doubt there's anyone here who doesn't think we need reinforcements but we could put out a competitive team today, not too many other Championship clubs will be in that position right now.

Lol….. I’d suggest there’s a massive difference between my post here and that of denny. My post I think is quite positive in tone and suggest stability within the club/ squad and that we are ready to go, but that at some point we may need to add one or two with a bit more quality to push. Denny’s post ( to me anyway), comes across as panic, panic, with the inference of why havent we signed any one yet, and…we will need a total rebuild etc etc… and gloom n doom, if we don’t. Not sure if that’s how it came across to others on here, but that’s how it struck me. The players report back today……if no one is signed by say one week from ko , then I’d be wondering why. I suspect Denny will have self imploded by this point based on the tone of his post.
