Wolves 2-0 now I think Leicester will get relegated.
I thought they were bang average at our place and I was incensed with the ref sending Phillips off in thst game, because without doubt we'd have won that with 11 men.
Agree plus they are cheating Bar stewards and it looks like two heavy defeats for them.

Like you, ive always thought Leicester were relegation bound. Its just which other 2 clubs will join them. Palace and Everton aren't in the clear yet and at a push West Ham could get dragged into it. But I think that's about it. I'm assuming Saints are all but done.... badly need them to lose today at Fulham.

Good that Cunha hasn't been banned from todays game. He can be banned for the next games

Bournemouth winning 3-0 at Manure and to think we should have beaten them the other week it's crazy.

Ange saying his job is harder than the Prime Ministers? Caused a stir last week. Even made a Jeremy Vine topic on Radio Two. But he could be correct. Like Kieron @ Ipswich, there will be masses of the support that he will have to do some 'splainin' to.

And the guy at Man Utd ?? Well, just shows how difficult the job is, BUT they do not realise it. His pre-job interview, (if you go back and view it) ....., just all wind & pish.

It's definitely been one of the few true entertaining PL games this season. Both teams hell bent on scoring and not playing chess-football in their own half for 90.mins.

Man City stadium is like a morgue vs Everton today.

I think our first home win will come against MC , they look SO out of sorts.

Lol, yer.
Everton and Forest both got points today playing with a packed defence and hitting on the break. I wish McKenna would consider a different approach in some of our games. We might actually pick up some points.

I see Cunha has started for Wolves again today. What a fecking joke this league is. Assault a member of staff of the other team you are playing and we might get round to banning you at some time.

can't always see what other teams get up to. Kind of out of our hands anyhow, some will only focus on our own team endeavors. One last time it's probable (three) other teams will finish below us but we're going to be well clear by end of season so that in reality it isn't much of a concern.

SPL's over before end of year. It were fun for a time but now reverted to type. Some things can't last. Haven't been witness to such a collapse or false dawn for some time. It's a damn shame but what can you do.

And now, I expect Leicester will pull off a shock win at Anfield tonight by using a " low bloc" for 98mins....... if only McKenna would consider a change of tactics occasionally.

I think it's because he appealed he should get a ten or hopefully more game ban

Yes, they're looking good tbh .
Adopting the much slugged low bloc and hitting on the break. It's been used by a lot of teams today.... they've all got points from it.

Today has got " one of those days" look about it as far as we go i think....

Thankfully wolves have an incredibly tough run of fixtures over the next 6 or 7 games, I don't see them picking up too many points.

The fact that Cunha was able to play in those two easier games in which he scores and has an assist gets my goat 😫🤐

I like the idea we could be battling with Manchester United for the rest of season to avoid the bottom three relegation drops. Say like, it's more surreal, but a distinct possibility as they're in near disarray most match days. Leicester losing was all well and good, 99 times out of a 100 you'd applaud it but not in the circumstance regards their opponents and what it means to the other end of the league.

Felt compeled to check out latest NCFC score, they're our main rivals after all and felt dismay they were able to get a victory of sorts last time out. However one win from last 5 or 6 games is simply sub-standard and they have to accept even at this stage of season any promotion is going to be unlikely. That's a real shame.

🤦‍♂️ And yet, Boxing Day was one of the best days EVER! Still suffering slightly and it’s the 29th.

Think you need to be Scottish to understand it, Saint. We (Genuine Scottish people from Edinburgh) gave up giving two flying fks about Glasgow & The Old Firm since the Graeme Souness days when Rangers FC existed and Celtic barely existed through Fergus McCann. Thats a long a$$ time. 👍👌

Souness arrived there 1986 was it, big news etc etc, believe wanted an influx of Catholic players at a Protestant club name but in retrospect it worked. Huns won the league year after and continued in line for another nine seasons but Walter Smith has to take a significant amount of plaudit for those accomplishments once Souness took off for 'someplace other'. It were the former who turned it around. Ferguson left Pittodrie and they were never the same while Souness took over at Ibrox around the same time and the latter club name just grew in stature after years away.

Celtic while at it, won the league in 1986 (Albert Kidd and everything with it), the league and cup double in 1988 and appeared in the next two Cup Finals, winning one and losing the other before disappearing off scene at the start of the 1990's so of course they were both competitive at around the same time. You mentioned a 1991 Skol Cup game, Yes I recall it even now, it were a final win over Dunfermline if memory serves.

Interesting year, Motherwell and Terrors provided a seven goal Cup Final and Dons went to Glasgow only needing a draw to take the League Championship but unfortunately couldn't hold out. I believe Scots soccer around that time was better than now as there was simply a greater variety of challengers and actual winners of trophy outside of the Old Firm club set-ups. You can include the early - mid 1980's to that of course.
