I think Ashton is negotiating the wage side for Moore which is the sticking point, if we can offer Keiffer a good wage near to what he gets at Bournemouth that could settle it. Plus the hope of winning an auto place in the premiership, and bonuses if Kieffe's got any sense he will make the deal to come back here, I Hope.

I think it highly unlikely that any Championship Club would be able to afford Keifer Moore’s salary except the 3 Premiership relegated sides and none of them need him. Bournemouth may well be happy to accept 50% of his wages on a loan deal as long as they get a guarantee that he’ll play regularly or maybe they’re holding out in the hope they can offload him completely. The latter is far more likely given their manager stated only last weekend that any new signings are subject to departures. Hopefully we’ll be able to reach an agreement as I don’t see us having enough fire power without him or another at the same level. Jay Stansfield would definitely be another great addition but he seems to have made it clear he’s happy where he is on loan at Birmingham. I think Tony Mowbray going there as manager also reduced our chances of getting him.

Manchester United with annual turnover of circa £650m and profits of circa £150m a year can easily afford to send players out on loan and in return only receive a partial payment of the players wages as is the case with Brandon Williams.

Bournemouth meanwhile with average crowds of 11,000 have a gross turnover of less than £140m and make a loss every year. In this situation they can’t afford to subsidise a players loan and need a full repayment of salary or very close to to balance the books. This is essential to avoid joining the likes of Everton and Nottingham Forest in breaching the FFP rules and taking the punishment that goes with it.

Yes, I've just heard that too - and it seems much more likely than the names from the English leagues that have been bandied about. I think it will stop at the one striker - especially if it's a permanent signing - for the simple reasons that KM will only ever start with striker, and if we pay £4M that's probably as much as we can spend under the rules. I was also thinking, it’s not technically urgent until the end of the window as even if we got a striker today he wouldn’t likely play on Monday at Leicester- then it’s Maidstone which will be a B side - so only those games before the window shuts. Ie if we got someone today they may not even play until feb.

I WENT THROUGH BING AFTER SEEING IT ON TWTD and an offer of between £3 to £5 million has supposedly been offered, watched some of his videos and he certainly looks the dogs and would fit like a glove into our setup
