I think Ashton is negotiating the wage side for Moore which is the sticking point, if we can offer Keiffer a good wage near to what he gets at Bournemouth that could settle it. Plus the hope of winning an auto place in the premiership, and bonuses if Kieffe's got any sense he will make the deal to come back here, I Hope.
I think it highly unlikely that any Championship Club would be able to afford Keifer Moore’s salary except the 3 Premiership relegated sides and none of them need him. Bournemouth may well be happy to accept 50% of his wages on a loan deal as long as they get a guarantee that he’ll play regularly or maybe they’re holding out in the hope they can offload him completely. The latter is far more likely given their manager stated only last weekend that any new signings are subject to departures. Hopefully we’ll be able to reach an agreement as I don’t see us having enough fire power without him or another at the same level. Jay Stansfield would definitely be another great addition but he seems to have made it clear he’s happy where he is on loan at Birmingham. I think Tony Mowbray going there as manager also reduced our chances of getting him.
Williams wages were reportedly £65k a week … but something was worked out there … so similar could happen for KM potentially…..
Wow isn't speculation a wonderful thing. No way he is on that much.

I’m fairly sure his Utd contract is £50k, prob 65k with ads ons so I think it’s true. Obv not on that here but that’s what his bank is getting each week.

Not speculation, this is Brandon Williams contract;
Brandon Williams signed a 4 year / £13,520,000 contract with the Manchester United F.C., including an annual average salary of £3,380,000. In 2023, Williams will earn a base salary of £3,380,000, while carrying a cap hit of £3,380,000.
I think you’ll find that is £65k pw. You were spot on Liz.

Manchester United with annual turnover of circa £650m and profits of circa £150m a year can easily afford to send players out on loan and in return only receive a partial payment of the players wages as is the case with Brandon Williams.
Bournemouth meanwhile with average crowds of 11,000 have a gross turnover of less than £140m and make a loss every year. In this situation they can’t afford to subsidise a players loan and need a full repayment of salary or very close to to balance the books. This is essential to avoid joining the likes of Everton and Nottingham Forest in breaching the FFP rules and taking the punishment that goes with it.

I think regardless of that bath clubs will just seek the best deal - financially and development wise etc. Chelsea tend to use the loan system to make money via loan fees but also increase players values to them sell on, many will
Never reach the first team but still make them millions.
Its supply and demand really, I think it’s why Moore might go do the wire as they’ll good out for clubs to outbid each other for his services.
Anyway - Ladapo confirmed off to charlton so surely
Someone is about to arrive?!

If Town are seriously looking at Wednesday’s Wing Back Marvin Johnson, this suggests Brandon Williams season long loan is about to be terminated.

I’ve just read we’ve officially submitted a £4m bid to Heidenheim for their striker Tim Kleindienst who’s scored 6 goals in 27 league games so far this season in Germany’s Bundesliga. Last season he scored 25 in 32 last and was Bundesliga 2 Top Scorer.
This has been kept well under the radar and could be a massive acquisition and looks more like what we need.

Yes, I've just heard that too - and it seems much more likely than the names from the English leagues that have been bandied about. I think it will stop at the one striker - especially if it's a permanent signing - for the simple reasons that KM will only ever start with striker, and if we pay £4M that's probably as much as we can spend under the rules. Simply Ladapo out, Fritz in.

Yes I saw that but I believe it was 6 goals in 17 matches which is better, I did not take any notice thinking it was probably rubbish time will tell.

Hmm, 28 though so no sell on value, 4m seems a lot but he seems big/tall, decent record at lower level out there etc.
CLark-Harris might be available, and wouldn't cost much -almost went to CHarlton, might be OK as a backup?

I’ve searched the internet and can’t find even the slightest rumour linking this player to ITFC so suspect it’s spoof. I’d love to think it’s true but in my opinion it’s looking highly unlikely.

If BW has been suffering with mental issues, having seen his contract details at Man U he must be worried sick about where his next Porsche is coming from!
Just reading through the comments on this thread flags up that we’re in such a good place relative to what’s gone before. Enjoy it peeps!

He’d stiff have value at 31 if he’s any good. That’s the same age we sold Paul Mariner to Arsenal and Harry Kane was 30 when he signed for Bayern Munich

If it came down to MA/KM having to chose between signing KM on loan, or Gallagher permanently, what advice would folk on here give?

Can’t see them letting Freddie go without knowing they are getting someone in. I was also thinking, it’s not technically urgent until the end of the window as even if we got a striker today he wouldn’t likely play on Monday at Leicester- then it’s Maidstone which will be a B side - so only those games before the window shuts. Ie if we got someone today they may not even play until feb.

That's true, but it would be nice to have them training with the squad for a week or Two though.

I trust MA and KM and we all know what they are capable of, I am sure we will get a forward in before the window closes, could be a total blindsider rather than the names banded about.
We all are getting a bit twitchy due to the current situation and time tickjng by, but Freddie going must account for something, let's keep the faith.

100% this ^^^
We’ve allowed Freddie to leave , so we 100% have at least one new striker coming in . Otherwise we’d have no number9 at the club.

I WENT THROUGH BING AFTER SEEING IT ON TWTD and an offer of between £3 to £5 million has supposedly been offered, watched some of his videos and he certainly looks the dogs and would fit like a glove into our setup

Sam Gallagher starts for Blackburn today but Birmingham are in talks for a loan.
