No - we have a winning formula atmo, he hasn't done enough - and the stoke game will be very physical, it should suit Shefqi down to the ground.Dazza wrote:Should Pablo start against Stoke on Tuesday, what do you think?

I'm gonna say Yup (thats right folks, Dazza backing Pablo. What next? A happy Rossi? )
He played well, he didnt turn the game unlike some people are suggesting but he scored a good goal and thats what we want forwards to do. Royle should give him a big pat on the back and say now prove yourself from the start of the game (and maybe 90 minutes) and then the Pablo lovers can have no complaints IF he is brought off with a sub-performance, and if he does perform we all win!
Start him and let him decided his future at this club...

Re: Should Pablo start against Stoke...
I would say NO...Shefki is great at getting AT defences...keep him on in the initial 60 mins...rough up the opposotion a bit..scare the pants out of 'em...run 'em ragged..THEN PUT PABLO on with his gulie and quick turns he will (as he did today)...see off a knackered and bewildered defence that has been KUQIEEED !!!Dazza wrote:Should Pablo start against Stoke on Tuesday, what do you think?

I went for No.
Bent and Kuqi make a great partnership at the moment, Kuqi worked his socks off.
I think Bowditch and Pablo haven't got the body strength to hold the ball up for Bent like Kuqi can. Pablo was able to come off the bench and exploit a tired defence which won us the game today, so why change a winning formula?

I went for yes for a couple of reasons, firstly he did do well today compared to other chances he has been given. Secondly although Stoke is an important game I think that the West Ham one is more important. THerefore we should look to rest a few players and give a few a chance of a first team place. Pablo and Deano up front, De Vos is still in some discomfort so he could do with a game off. Matt richards needs a game to see if he is up with Wilnis, as players fighting for places is good for the team.

No
I don't think 10 mins of good play after so many minutes of poor play that he shown so far this season should make us all change our minds.
I think we all agree that Pablo is a good player currently (maybe up to now) out of form
If he can continue with this sort of form over the next two or three games when he comes on as Sub then maybe I will change my mind
