Penalty Appeal

Post by Vaughan8 » Sun Apr 17, 2005 5:28 pm

Was the penalty appeal at the end a penalty??

I think it was as much as their penalty so I'd say yes. I think we were on the end of some bad decisions today so could have won it! But to be honest, lucky to get a point.

looking at it originally looked like handball but when it showed on replay it hit the top of the shoulder so i thought it would have been harsh.

If sunderlands was a penalty when fab had obviously slipped (probably why he didnt book him then) then ours must of been in that match! both where harsh penaltys to give but if you give one and not another that is almost exactly the same then it doesnt make it very fair does it??

shouldn't have been a penalty but the ref was so bias to them would have evened out if we had got it.
