Was Liverpool's goal over the line...

What do you all think? I think you have to go with your first reaction, to put yourself in the position of the Ref.

I've done a poll so you can say if you changed your mind after the replays.

guess we'll never see a decent camera angle to judge. but had it not been allowed cech would have been off and Liverpool given the penalty. goal line technology is needed

agree, plus majority or sports have line cameras, to help make difficult desicions, this was argued when carrol spilled against spurs.

The WHOLE of the ball has to be over the line, that's every single last piece of the ball HAS TO BE ACROSS THE LINE!

Not touching the line but fully across it!

There is no way that the whole of the ball was over the line IMHO.

Having said that though Chelsea weren't good enough to score against a relatively poor Liverpool in over 180 minutes of football, therefore despite what Jose says the best team won.

If the ref hadn't given the "goal" (as he shouldn't as it wasn't really a goal!) he would've given Liverpool a penalty AND sent Cech off so Chelsea can't really complain.
