His eyes, they shine like diamonds
They call him the king of the land
His name is Kevin Beattie
And he stands with the cup in his hand.

Linda
When we went to the away leg against Inter Milan Mini and I were singing the Serene song at the top of our voices at Milan station.
All the Italians just looked at us as though we had been let loose from the funny farm. Needless to say EG just walked away and left us.

I voted for the tony mowbray song - it was a classic song that represented how a great player played the game. Always remeber him having to come out of retirement to sort the defence out, as they were lost without it....hang on....they still are!
Also liked the Marcus stewart song, as it brings back good memories, like sinigng to a watching sven to give him a chance in the england squad.

I voted for the Marcus Stewart song purely because I remember singing it in a bar in Copenhagen and drowning out the band that were playing after we'd beaten Helsingborg in the UEFA cup!

The bar was pretty much 90% Ipswich fans and when the band asked for requests we all suggested "Walking in a Stewart wonderland", they said they didn't know it so we sung it for them...at the tops of our voices!

One of my best ever Town related memories (the bar had loads of really attractive Danish barmaids wearing skimpy Carlsberg t-shirts!).

what about the Gus Uhlenbeek (sp) song
Uhlenbeek Uhlenbeek running down the wing
Uhlenbeek Uhlenbeek running down the wing
feared by the yellows, loved by the blues
Uhlenbeek Uhlenbeek Uhlenbeek!

The Marcus stewart one, simply cos it pops into my head for no reason at random intervals and stays there for periods of time.

Damn tune.

Well the wonderland song reminds me of my sunday league side more than Stewart.

There's only one Feering Falcons,
One Feering Falcons,
And we're walking along,
Singin the song,
Walking in a Feering wonderland

:P

Out of those it would have to be the Serini one, even though he was sh*te. There's hardl any we made up entirely if ya get me.
