Campaign to find "Jamie Peters"
Before the season started and certainly pre-season games,Young Canadian international Jamie Peters was creating quite a stir amongst us all. After drawing my own conclusions after watching play a few times,I was liking what i was seeing. Now in our hour of need for attacking players, Jamie Peters appears to have dissapeared from the face of the earth!!! Has anyone seen him? Is he injured? Is he still in the UK? Is he still a town player? JAMIE????? Where are you???

Edit: It was not the Norwich game, it was before that as we were in the North Stand, I was in the Greene King Stand for the Norwich game

I believe Joe accidentally stood on him, and he's currently stuck under his shoe.loudnproud wrote:Before the season started and certainly pre-season games,Young Canadian international Jamie Peters was creating quite a stir amongst us all. Whoa boys and girls !! Peters is a long term prospect. Rome wasn't built in a day and his career won't be made or broken by his first season in English football.
I don't expect to see him in first team colours this season unless we have an even bigger injury crisis. From what I hear he's still developing. Who from our midfield would be making way for him right now ? From what i read he's making progress in the reserves so let's hope he keeps on working and doesn't use Bowditch as his ego role model

I dont think people are expecting Rome to be built in a day (although
we wish it could), but we are questionining where the bricks for the
foundations are.
As someone pointed out at the beginning of the thread, everyone was waiting in anticipation for this Young International to make his
signature on paper at ITFC, he played in one or 2 games, at
a time when Injuries were not as bad as they are today, and now
he has completely disappeared and there appears to be nothing coming
from ITFC as to where he is or what the problem is..
Perhaps it is the way I am thinking, but we are playing some of our
youths over 'JAMIE PETERS' That does not add up...

He may be a long term prospect but he only signed a 2 year deal and due to immigration issues he would be free to walk after that period - although he probably won't be playing in england again.Dubai Blue wrote:Whoa boys and girls !! Whilst none of us expected him to be a world beater over night he did have a good list of clubs looking to sign him. I would like to see him involved toward the end of the season as he should now be settled with Life in English footy. It has been stated he could play up-front so why not give him a go I say!!
