good move IMHO..it gives the player a chance to get himself back into regular footy , build his fitness away from the glare of us fans !...and gives him a chance to build up confidence.
Hartlepool "win" and so do we ..as for them becoming another "Charlton"- unlikley IMHO I see them more as a the next step up from reserve and training games for our developing young players - it gives them a chance to compete in more competitive games!

Its good for both clubs that we've got a link like this going.......hopefully it'll mean more players going out on loan in the future

Shame its not closer for them, but its good to have a feeder club.

Can we send Mini Mac back out to them?

Yeah this is a decent move for the Lad, lets hope he gets some First Team experience, he certainly wasnt gonna get it hear. Hartlepool seem to be very keen on our players

Spoke to him yesterday and he said he doesnt like it very much up there. Living out of bags in some crummy hotel. Manager gave him a bollocking for passing the ball from defence instead of hoofing it up field.

If it is good for the Lad and the Club then I am all for it.

It would be a tradgedy to see young talent go to waste, or
at the very least not be given the opportunity to develop.

Good luck Nashy..

Good luck to the lad - I don't see Hartlepool becoming a feeder club for us - from what I am aware they have aspirations of their own to get to our division at some stage!!!

Funny the comment about nash trying to play the ball out of defence instead of just hoofing it - that is the kind of thing which will come as a culture shock - but at the same time he will learn alot from this type of environment!!
