Joe says he has not given up hope of promotion this year....

75 points to make the playoffs

18 games left

we can afford to lose 4 games........... :lol:

well that is possible to do i guess hehe.. not that it will happen...

however i believe it'll be less than 75 points this year to make the play offs.. probably closer to 70.. not that that really helps our situation that much...

I think ATB is right - I wouldn't be surprised if it was nearer 67!!

Shef U and Reading apart - I wouldn't say anyone were favourites for a play off spot yet and I think most teams under those two are capable of beating each other - which is why play-offs can't be counted out yet!!!

I would love to see this happen, however i still think Mid Table or just above is a realistic aim.

The play-offs must be a longshot but it'd be nice for us to put a bit of a run together between now and then end of the season so we have a more realistic chance of promotion next year. With all the injuries the team hasn't had a chance to gel yet, but the squad we have now has more potential than it has achieved in results so far.
