No phone calls for Worthy...

Saw on BBC Sport that Worthless and Norwich have been quoted as saying that he hasn't had any phone calls about Green or Ashton. Now considering that West Ham supposedly submitted a £7m bid over the weekend, is this his way of trying to reject the bid without openly saying it?
