Absolutely pricelessIpswich Town Football Club has asked an independent auditor and former senior partner of KPMG, Nigel Smith, to conduct an internal review of the Club's controls relating to the vetting of any potential significant investors.
Town's Chief Executive Derek Bowden said:" Nigel Smith oversees the Club's 'Risk Register', which covers many aspects of the business and clearly, with lessons learned from this recent episode, it is prudent to ensure that our checking process is sound."
