silly subject, but what do you think?

When I was a lad, you may have seen the keeper wearing those dodgy green things - now everyone seems to be wearing them when the temperature drops below 10C :?

I only ask, because tonight I have seen the ultimate in glove wearing.

Lad playing for Congo wearing gloves for f sake

Has no one told him that it is quite warm in Egypt even at this time of year

Fashion accessory - thats the only answer I can come up with.

lol i know what you mean, must admit i sometimes wear gloves but that is when its cold but i mean really cold. although mate who i used to play with in a team, simple wore them as he got better grip when taking a throw in, as he used to get sweety hands and the moisture offf the ball simple slipped.

I play footy every wed night outdoors from 7-8, and if I dont wear my gloves my hands are frozen.

This in turn distracts me which means I play worse.

Same on sunday morning 11 aside, gloves in winter = good.

Oh by gloves I mean fingerless black ones, not some big poncy things ;)

Note, I didnt say "I" was cold, but my hands are.
Rest of me is warm.
Hands like iceblocks.
Infact they were that numb the other week when I forgot my gloves I couldnt feel the steering wheel in my car. Fun times :P

As I play left wing / forward most of the time, not running isnt an option ;)

Then again, if you want to come and play tomorrow night, we in cambridge, lets see how you do ;)
Shorts and t-shirt are mandatory
