So, Mike Newell and Ian Holloway say that they have been offered bribes for transferring players and they say that it's rampant. They are both praised by the media for their bravery and integrity.
Sven, England manager and much more high profile than either of the other two, says basicly the same thing to the Fake Sheik and it's a scandal? The medias massive bias against Sven has been exposed, the guy can do no right in their eyes.
Anyone wish to attempt to explain?

The difference is simple - Holloway and Newel want to help clean the game up - however someone like Sven should seriously watch who he is mouthing off to. The guy has crossed the line far too many times and for someone of his age and stature I would have expected a far more mature response.
If we do not get success at the World Cup I feel there will be a bitter taste left in everyones mouths all this while Sven gets paid off to the tune of a few million.

Sorry, but I feel that Sven is totally innocent and that he's been duped.
All that he was doing was talking about possibilities in a conversational manner. We're all contracted to our employers, but we're allowed to speak freely to other people about the company and discuss possible moves. Sven was simply speculating about what he could do in the future.
