Magilton says if an offer came and he could play every game he would leave! dont blame him to be honest but if he does go we need to sign juan.

His legs aren't up to it any more, shame because he's got the mind of a 25 year old

I'm 25 and have the mind of a 16 but that really isn't football related LOL!!

Well to be fair he has had a lot of problems with his arthritic toe - ITFC have been good and stood by him - however had he moved to a smaller club with smaller squad he might not have received the same amount of support.

If he wants to leave then so be it. He had the chance to go in the summer when he knew this season would be tougher. Wish the guy all the best but I wouldn't stand in his way. We have a lot of youth and strength in midfield so we don't need him as much as we used to.

I reckon Jim should consider playing for rushden & Diamonds as a player/coach,They are desperate for some leadership and the experience will do him good.

I think Jim is/was class and he should leave on a high, he can't play 90 mins though, we all knew it was his last season here, I for one wish him all the best.

I agree with that mate, unfortunately ITFC are no
longer in a luxury situation, we have to be getting what we
are paying for..

For all that Jim has given to Town - I think Town should honour him with a Testimonial - there are to many Marcus Bents' in football nowadays ...and Jim (and Naylor) are a breed apart IMO !!

I posted a thread about this last week, I think it was just an 'outburst' as he'd only played ten mins in the game before that interview....hopefully  ...yes we know he's leaving at the end of the season, but I think he should see the season out with us, he's been a great servant to the club and I for one want to say a proper goodbye.

Jim Leaves Door Open

I hope Joe tells him to shut it quick, we can't afford to waste money on the heating bills!

Would be a shame to see him leave before the end of the season and its not as if our squad is that big anyway.

Jim Magilton has been a great server to town but i think his time is up at this level. We have great young midfield full of running and i dont think poor old Jims legs can take it.
