"Colchester Utd last night quashed rumours that they will seek to ground share with Ipswich if they win promotion to the Championship next season. The league one leaders insisted they will stay put at Layer Road untill their proposed new stadium, on the Cuckoo Farm site (
sounds about right!) to the north of the town has been compleated...."
Thankgod for that....being intirely selfish here...I dont want to share our ground with anyone, its 'ours'
...bet Alan Ferguson is mightly releaved, he doesn't much like the reserves usuing it all the time so he would have blown a fuse if we'd said we'd share
