I know we won and I dont want to pick up on any negatives but I wanna try and look at this constructively and put a positive spin on it.

I thought Lewis Price made a bit of a mistake on their goal. He decided to come out then stop and then he decided to come out again. I feel he if rushed out and meet Johansson on the box he could of made it harder for him. Am I being harsh and extremely picky?

Anyways, for the positive spin time. Apart from that he did well. Now do we stick with Lewis or bring back in Supple?

The commentators picked up Price a few times.

When he stood in for Kelvin last season and the season before he was FANTASTIC. Certainly on par with Kelvin and thats saying something. I think its because he had nothing to prove. And when Kelvin went I was annoyed when I heard JR was looking for an experienced keeper because I knew Price could do the job but it seems with him now being our number one week in and week out he has become extremely nervous while Supple looks like an extremely confident keeper.

Its weird!

Supple should be given the no.1 shirt....a much more confident 'keeper

dazza, the facts are, supple is now our number one, Price had a good game, but supple will be back next game

i know u dont like price, but ive seen plenty of keepers do exactly what he did today and get lobbed, as an ex keeper i can sympathise with the fella, ur first instict is to get to the ball, but apart from that he didnt do much wrong all game, in fact he had very little to do

in fact im amazed u can find any fault with today;s performance, no one seems to have mentioned Fab giving the ball away in dangerous postions because he was trying to be clever

I have been out of touch, was it stated why Price returned to the starting lineup for this game?

This is a good point, I'm surprised more of us havn't picked up on this - I thought it truly sucked that Supple got dropped, for such a massive game, following some fantastic performances - particuarly given Tuesday night! If it wasn't for the joyous defeat of the scum, I'd have ranted about this before now.

Supple for me every time at the moment; Price didn't look the real deal, there were a couple of balls he should have come out for - I don't think he would have stopped the goal, but he still should have come out much earlier.

Supple, despite his age, is playing with real confidence and assurance - Its totally unfair if Price is keeping him out of the team now.

Price Vs Supple

hmmm if Supple is still unwell on saturday i think Price has a great chance to regain the number one shirt, if Supple is well he should be back in goal and will probaly remain there but either way we have two good 'keepers and id be happy with either

To be fair Price did have a good game on sunday i thought. I dont think there was much he could do for their goal, spare growing 2 foot. I think he would have been lobbed even if he went any further, and if he had stayed on his line he would have been easily scored past. He just stopped and made himself bigger so johanson had less to aim for. He took his goal very well i thought. Price also made a pretty good save from johanson earlier. He didnt really have much to do the rest of the game. His kicking was good as well, as it has been quite dodgy a few times.

I think its great we have 2 quality young keepers, both on the verge of becoming full international players. Keeps competition which we havent had when Davis and Marshall were here.
