Did Jerzy dream this ? Did anyone see it ?Liverpool goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek claims Darren Bent admitted diving to win a penalty during Charlton's win at The Valley on Wednesday.
Dudek, making his first start for Liverpool since his heroics in the Champions League final against AC Milan last May, conceded the penalty when adjudged to have fouled Bent by referee Andre Marriner.
But Dudek claims Bent had feared he would receive a yellow card as the striker admitted to diving immediately after taking a tumble.
Now Dudek has called for video technology to be used to prevent players diving.
"Darren Bent was, I think, one yard ahead of me. He dived, you know?" Dudek told the Daily Express. "When he was on the floor he was saying 'Sorry, sorry, I dived, I did dive'. He was scared of getting booked.
"When he saw the referee running towards us shouting 'penalty', he was saying 'All right then'.
"I said 'Tell him. Tell him you dived'. The referee insisted it was a penalty. He said I had touched him. How could I have touched him when he was one yard in front of me?
"Darren Bent didn't say anything to the referee, and why would he? Maybe it's time for video technology if it will stop people diving.
"If you have a situation where teams miss out on European football it could cost them millions of pounds, and all because of an incorrect decision."

i dont think he did, dudek was comeing charging out of his goal, and to stop bent getting clatterd, he simply had to move out the way, and if you look at bents reaction when he gets up, he goes to chase the ball again till he relises the whistle had been blown.
Any one whos played football and has been in that suitation will no, if you dont move out the way, you will get nailed, and the only way is to do what bent did, its not a dive but simple a body reaction in a split second.
Very harsh to cal him a dive in my opinoun!
