Todays game

First half was shocking. The worst half i have seen in ages, the atmosphere was rubbish and the team was about the same. Didnt really look like scoring but had alot of possesion. Where burnleys goal came from i dont know ! they hadnt looked like scoring.

Second half was much better ! Alan lees goal was well worked and we deserved to be at least level. Burnley were hardly in it in the second half and we deserved to win in the end. Probably wasnt a penalty from where i was sitting but im not complaining ! Matt richards and scott barron are linking up very well so did Currie and sito. Sito was great when he came on, put in some great passes.

Alan lees goal was very good. its now 3 goals in 5 games for a " cardiff Reject " He is a complete sod though, if you watch him he's winding players up, nudging them and niggling away at them. Its great watching him do it from a town point of view, but i bet he really pisses off Opposition fans. Good result overall today from a dull game. First back to back wins of the season ! :o

Burnley don't half wind you up with their time wasting tactics, i could see the point in the last 10 minutes but after 35 minutes? That's just asking for trouble.

Good hard-fought win today. Burnley try to frustrate you, thankfully we managed to pull it back. Alan Lee was simply fantastic today, his work-rate was amazing, and had his shot gone in after taking on several Burnley players it would've been the goal of the season.

Burnley are absolute scum!

I thought we were the better team by a factor of about 1 million throughout the 90 minutes and it really was "2-1 to the football team".

Even when we went 1-0 down I thought we'd win and we did.

A good result and a good performance, we need to be more ruthless upfront though..but 3 points is 3 points.

Especially their goaly, he deserved to be booked, especially after he elbowed Lee. Agree with Toby, it was funny when the North stand started singing "2-1 to the football team" and then "Fat boy whats the score" when the goaly took a goal kick

Having been tortured having to Listen to the Norwich game in the
USA, I was very hopefully of a good display by ITFC.

The first half was not one of our worst, bu close to it, the link up play and
choices we took were somewhat bemusing. Twice at least I saw
great opportunies going foward and we chose to let the ball run ut of play,
twice I saw great space and attacking options, which we played backward
balls and lost.

Have we forgotten we got wingers again.. The space that Baron was
creating and then again Sito was fantastic only for us to play closely
marked midfield play which resulting in us losing.

Now Matt Rochards for the most part of the secon half (in my
opinion) completely lost the plot, and I was screaming for Joe
to replace him with Mc donald or peters. Fortunately we
did not replace him and he got the winner (penalty) albeit
only just. I wonder who would have taken the penalty if he had of been subbed.

Now Alan Lee's work down the left, skippig by four players to blast
a shot I have to agree with an earlier posting, had that of gone in
would have been the goal of the season.

End of the day as long as we can get 3 points (if playing badly) then
that cant be a bad thing, but I thought today was a close encounter.

I don't think I've gone so mental for two goal celebrations as I did yesterday!

My whole body aches today, when Richards tucked that penalty away I jumped around punching the air and generally going completely tonto.

I was screaming at their fat boy waster of a goalie as well shouting "TAKE YOUR TIME FAT BOY!" when it was 2-1!

Strangely enough his goalkicks suddenly went from taking about a minute to taking a couple of seconds max!

I f**king hate Burnley, they can't play football, they are dirty and they just time wasted the whole f**king game.

Not been so happy to win a match in a long, long time.

Burnley are absolute SCUM, how people can go week in week out to watch that kind of sh*te I will never know.
