Town have been nominated as finalists in two further categories in the Football League Awards, as Most Admired Club and Website of the Year.

Brighton, Crewe, Norwich, Reading and Southend join Blues as the nominations in the Most Admired Football League Club category, which is sponsored by Oxygen8.

Town's official Club website - www.itfc.co.uk is among the seven finalists chasing the Best Club Website award, sponsored by Premium TV, along with Norwich, Nottingham Forest, Reading, Sheffield Wednesday, Southampton and Wycombe.

Town are also finalists in the Matchday Programme of the Year and Best Kit Design.
The awards night will take place on Sunday, March 5 at The London Hilton.
Do you think we will win any?[/quote]

Our news updates may be slow, but we have loads of interviews and things like that for Ipswich World members.

Too right - since the ineption of PTV sites the general quality of all football club websites has diminished. Yes the sites might look a little nicer, but the amount of adverts and news stories which push you to their "WORLD" sites is poor and stinks of trying to pull a few more pounds out of the fans!!

For me the web presents a media form which should be shared and available to everyone. Whilst the website could be used for increasing revenue - I don't think a website should be subscriber based like the PTV WORLD sites. They offer an extra drain on the wallet of the average fan who have probably already given too much to begin with.

If they are looking for a top website then they need to look at an alternative to PTV sites. They need to be looking at clubs who want to promote themselves in innovative ways.

So what if we win "best website award" will it change anything - no!!

Personally I never use the "official" site - I can't stand PTV and the way they have destroyed the majority of football websites. These sites used to be unique to the clubs they were run for - they represented the size and budgets of those clubs and in part improved their quality solely on that basis. The lifeless money pushing pilth we have now is hardly worthy or recognition let alone awards - and that goes for all PTV sites!!!

Anyway - on the brighter side - it is now 5.05!!! :D

I agree PTV are fvckin sh*t but they are only the server, it's still up to the clubs to update it etc.
