Hamstring, thats normaly only four weeks if its a proper injury, it might be minor and he could be back for saturday.

It has been said he had a little twitch of the hamstring earlier

The official site said he was a slight doubt before the game with a "tight hamstring". Sounds like playing him might have been a gamble that didn't pay off.

Well he got us a goal, so maybe it did...

Lets just hope he has come off because he doesnt want to damage it.

He was limping something cronic when he came off, but wasn't to far gone to not give us wave .

Good to hear that it did ease off after have a hot shower - so heres hoping it is not a serious as first thought.

You're right Dazza, he did score a goal and I suppose that is what Joe and his staff are paid for. Making decisions, without the benefit of hindsight that we all enjoy. Sometimes they come off and sometimes they don't. The official site also says that he has been playing with the tightness for a couple of games. so with the injury striker crisis we have it is wholly understandable that he was played.

EADT this morning said he would be a big doubt for Saturday but if he misses that game, it will likely be the only one he misses.

Are parkin or proudlock ready for a place on the bench at least??? I have no worries starting with Currie and Mini-mac - but would be nice to have another option should it go slightly wrong.

Yes we could move Naylor up front but for me this has to be a last resort. Naylor is key to us defending well IMO.

Think we have really got to be careful regarding Lees injury.
Imo it is no good trying to rush him back and then he tears it completely and then becomes unavailable for virtually the rest of the season. It was like when we brought Williams back for the Norwich game and he was not 100%, you then risk losing the player for even a longer period.
Never mind as I said to BB last night at the game, "If Lee is out for a while you have to look on the bright side, Parkin will be back in a couple of weeks". For some reason he seemed to take offense with this comment!!

It looked to me like a pull, so he could be out for weeks, and that could see the end of our play off hopes. Because all though mini mac scored a great goal, we didn't look the same side without Lee.

With regard to Super Sammy Parkin, I think Alan Lee will be the making of him and we will see a different player. However, if he comes back and has to play up front on his own (with Currie  ) then we're back where we started!

Agreed Bluebird!!! However i feel that if we can pull through this next tough game at Wolves unscathed,we could still be in with a shout. I believe Parkin will be a more confident player, for he is entering a team high in confidence and that is going to rub off on him....surely!!
