No not that one
Nwoso 'Henry' Kanu, brother of Arsenal and now West Brom striker Nwankwo Kanu, will be spending a few days training with the first-team as Joe Royle steps up his search for striking options.

Striker Kanu, who is not contracted to a club, has experienced football in Greece and in Germany, with Eintracht Frankfurt and Union Berlin and was part of the Nigerian squad in the build up to the 2000 Olympics.

"He will spend a few days training with us and we will have a look at him," Town boss Joe Royle told the Club website.

Joe is increasing his search for new loan prospects though after news that Alan Lee will be out for three weeks with a hamstring injury.

"It could be longer than that, perhaps four or five weeks so we will intensify our efforts to bring someone in to help us out up front," added Joe.
"I'm not sure who we've upset but there seems to be no end to the striking jinx we've had here this season."

This Kanu fella MAY be a sound investment.....If has played the german way,Passing the ball and building play from the back, sounds familiar to you? Then he will certainly fit into our style of play.Is he hungery enough to want to play in England? Now that is up to him....Today and tomorrow to prove himself...

Unless you've had underperforming Nigerians on your team recently, this is not a very good joke.

Well Shaggy ........ there was a certain Mr. Finidi George who cost, was it 3 million ? and left for nothing having had probably only one decent game (his first - which to be fair was outstanding).

So I don't think this was a racist post. I'm happy to say that racism is almost completely absent from this Forum in my experience.

In that case, the comment is well understood. :)

Vaughan8: sorry about the misunderstanding.

Finidi George scored 9 goals from midfeild in a relagated side.
Not saying he was the mutts nuts...
But name me another midfeilder who has done this in a bottom 3 side...
