Well of course they do. They know someones interested. I think he'll go for half of that and I can see us using our transfer budget on that in the Summer.

I wonder though, do we really need him that much ? He has come on tremendously this season but he can still be a bit inconsistent. 500k might bring in 2 quality replacements from lower down ?

I think he's worth 500k.. probably less of a gamble as we have seen him play and already fits into the team

Juan, Garvan, Williams, Westlake, Richards, Currie.. looks like we should have reasonable cover there

Still think a lot will depend on how s/t sales go as to whether we get Juan or not.
Obviously there will be some hard negotiating to be done and I still have my doubts whether Jimmy will be with us next season. As I said in another post was talking to somebody who works at the club on saturday and he said that up to last week they had sold 6,500 season tickets for next year so far. As it was April 1st think he was telling porkies (at least I bloody hope so!!!) otherwise we are going to have to sell a helluv alot in the next 10 days.

I cant see the club parting with 500k for Juan....I am of the opinion that the money should perhaps be spent tightening up the defence.

juan is easily worth 5ook, and we should spend it on him, hesa v.good player and we all know he can perform and he fits well into the team

I tend to agree with you hereDubai. and I will bring Hallams post
from a couple of days into sight as well, in the fact that maybe
Joe did look at Jay Mceveley etc to make a decision as to who to free
up. Its the only logical explanation for some of saturdays selection
that I feel is possible.

However the date 13th April I think it is, is when we know what season
ticket sales are when we will really perhaps start to hear more about Jimmy.

I've just renewed mine and there were a few others so lets hope that helps!

no way is he worth £1million! well not for us either, and I dont think £500,000 would be gd value either, but as some1 sed, least we know what we are getting. I suppose it depends who else is available!

I million is a joke and they know it, a good and developing player, we do know what we are getting I guess which helps - I thought 300 - 500 with the higher end more likely, but 1 million - pull the other one!!!
