are we called Ipswich Town FC or Charlton Athletic youth academy?Charlton are reported to be interested in Town keeper Shane Supple. Addicks boss Alan Curbishley was at Portman Road recently to see the Blues in action against Hull City.
Curbishley has also been linked with Tigers keeper Boaz Myhill and is understood to want to add a netsman to his squad over the summer.
Midfielder Owen Garvan has also been suggested as the reason for Curbishley's visit to Portman Road, Charlton already having five ex-Town players in their ranks.
Supple, who signed a new three-year contract last October, recently said that he is not interested in a move at this stage of his career: "I am delighted to be playing first team football, I want to play as much first team football as possible now that I have had a taste of it. I want to stay at Ipswich as long as I can, and hopefully get to the Premiership with Ipswich.
"I look at those lads who made the moves like Richard Wright. He left Ipswich when he was very young, and I think he should have stayed another year.
"I suppose it was hard to turn down a move to Arsenal, with David Seaman on the verge of moving on. But it didn't go for Richard, unfortunately, and he hasn't played many games in the five years since he left Ipswich."

Agree Charlton aren't interested in spending big on players - so unless they are prepared to break the bank to get a player I suggest they fook off elsewhere!!!
They pinched the likes of Herman and Matty off of us, and judging on the job Bent has done this season is it fair to assume he was a steal at just £2.5m??
Charlton have money to spend and if they seriously want our young guns make em pay well for the priviledge.
Supple is worth at least £5m IMO - and investing in an 18 year old potentially gives you 20 years of playing ability!!!

I wouldn't worry about this one - Garvan worries me but Shane has said how very VERY lucky he is to be playing 1st team (same applies to Garvan) but Shane more so as a keeper - he did make the "Wright" comparison as well so his head is screwed on the right way and he'll have the sense not to leave - Garvan would be very foolish to leave - 1st team games are gold for such a youngter - lets hope his agent is in for the long haul and not the short term $$
