The bright side is we are not as bad as everyone makes out. Its not the players abilitys in question over the last 3/4 games. Its there attitudes. Obviously realiseing they were not going to make the playoffs after such a good run left them deflated. Im still confident with the right additons in the summer Ipswich town will be there or there abouts for playoffs next season. People who talk about staying in the division are over pesamistic and need a reality check!

Luke
You never told me you had got the job as Sheepys spin doctor!
I sincerely hope you are right but from what I have seen over the course of the whole season imo we are a long way from a promotion winning side. It seems to me that sheepy is relying on the 2nd share issue to give Joe funds to strengthen the squad (if this is the case it will be interesting to see how much he actually ends up with).
As for the good run I believe we went undefeated for about 8 games in the league (I think the management & board would like us to forget about the other 35).

It just makes me laugth, the exact same people who said we could make it are now saying we will get relagated next season!

It never rains it pours!

I remember some people thinking we were promoted after we beat Plymouth away last year.
Funny thing is the same sort of thing was being said about the easy run in last year as well. Thing is as has been proved time and time again a game on the fixture list might look like an easy 3 points but it is a different matter out on the pitch. Imo, I guess that what makes this division so interesting in that on a given day anybody can beat anyone (ok Reading may have been the exception this year).
Some interesting times ahead me thinks!

I think the question that needs to be asked and concerns me the most is if the current manager is able to get the most out of this squad of players?
The problem is even if the board feel that he is no longer the man for this job their hands appear to be tied until the end of next season.

Luke, if you realise this, and 99% of the fans realise this then why doesn't Royle?
Why didn't he play some players who have a point to prove?
It seemed to me yesterday that Casement was about the only player who was really up for it (and maybe Barron, Haynes (for a while in the first half) and Forster).
Why wasn't Skard given a chance?
Garvan. Richards, Juan and Currie were all utter turd yesterday, I don't think I've seen such an uninterested and completely useless set of midfielders in all my life.
