Im more than delighted for Darren

.... he thoroughly deserves this award, 2nd highest assist in the league...our 3rd top goalscorer...love him or hate him, if you took that away we could of well been relegated...there's a lovely pic in todays paper of him recieving his award

have to say i'm delighted for him!

Although .................
Darren currie = player of the year = sh*te season = lowest finish for years = oh silly me, we'd have been even worse without him

I would just like to add that I was delighted to hear that Darren had donated the £1000 in sports kit, that he recieved as part of his award, to my very first school that I went to... Sidegate Lane Primary in Ipswich

I've slated Currie all season but actually i thought he's looked pretty decent over the last few months especially when tucked inside. He ain't got any pace out wide (which is shame because he crosses the ball well)
