No money to spend on players
its certain now, with no £400,000 from Charltown for Benty making his competitive England debut. We wont get the money until September at the earliest, which means it cant be spent until January, but will have already been gobbled up by Sheepy, so we wont go up next season.
Glad I got that off my chest!

Seems amazing that just about the whole country had their money, wives and season tickets betted on bent going to the WC - after the season he has had he does deserve it.
Nice to know that form doesn't come into it when you get picked for England. Why the fook is hargreaves picked to go??
This guy has never done owt in an england shirt ever. Whilst I would be all for walcott if we had 3 other fit senior strikers I couldn't justify throwing him in totally untried at premier league level.
But on the other hand he must be the freshest player in the whole country?

Sheepy will be fuming, I went to a meeting with him a few days after the last qualifing game when Darren was on the bench but not used ...I cant repeat what he said about Svenrossi wrote:maybe..........but count, chickens, hatch comes to mind..........essential in business, believe me.1978greats wrote:He was..... this is a MASSIVE blow.... out of Sheepy's hands people, just dont forget that !!!! ...I think that He along with most of the country thought that Benty would be going...this is dreadful news for ITFCbigfatjoes wrote:honestly i think sheepy was gambling on getting that cash in this season and i bet he has just sh*t his pants when that sqaud was annoucned along with the rest of us!
