'weakest link' vote

Pardon my negativity, but that's me. I thought about adding Andy Marshall but that's so last season.

This is a dumb post.

He may be found out in defence, but he's all we have for now - and let's not forget who won the game for us against Stoke

He did have a bad game sat i do agree but you cant really take it out on a player for one game. im not 100% sure on how well he has played Before hand but like somne said hes all we got for now so we should just hope he gets better

You've also got to remember that he is playing a more defensive role than he is used to.
He is natuarly more of a wing back as apposed to a full back.

Matt Richards is a good player, but still young. He's bound to make mistakes, it's the only way he'll learn and improve.

Don't get on his back now, support him and let him prove how good a player he is over the next few weeks :D

TO BE QUITE HONEST I THINK U NEED TO STEP BACK AND LOOK AT WHO IS ACTUALLY ON THE PITCH BECAUSE U CAN SIT HERE AND SLAG OFF EACH PLAYER WEN THEY DO SUMFIN WRONG BUT LOOK AT WHO IS GETTIN PAID TO BE ON THE PITCH AND THEY OBVIOUSLY HAVE ALOT MORE TALENT THAN YOU OTHERWISE THEY WOULDNT BE ON THERE SO I THINK YOU NEED TO STOP PUTTIN THEM DOWN AND START SUPPORTIN THE WHOLE TEAM!

I have mixed opinions on Ipswich and there defence, We have been very poor at the back for the last few seasons, especially last year when we were at our worst. I thought things were getting better at the back this year, but now i disagree. For example we have thrown to many points away at home, for starters a 3-1 defeat at Crystal Palace isnt good enough and to concede 4 goals against Crewe just shows how poor we are in defence. If Town hadnt of scored 6 goals Crewe would have taken all 3 PTS. How we all know that the defence is to blame, but is it really just One or the Whole defence. Joe Royle has already mentioned that his strikers dont defend but really that is a excuse, the defenders have the main repsonibility and really they havent done very good at all.

As for the Subject of Matt Richards. I see him being a Very good Defender in the future, but we must give the lad a chance, he is at a very young age, dosent have much experience on his side, and to be honest its not just him who is to blame. Town need to build up the defence whether it being, JR bringing in New Signings in this current Transfer Window or whether it be more work on the training points something has to be done.
