tractor boys form

Post by tony01 » Tue Oct 18, 2016 9:12 pm

I have been a long term supporter since the gold ol days when we were in the old first division. What has become of the club? It appears that there is no ambition to go anywhere but remain entrenched in this division. The players are mediocre and will never take the team to the premier league. We need a better manager with more drive and guts who is willing to buy better class players. We are a boring team to watch and I long for the glory days to return but we need a change now before we end up in the conference leagues.

Hi Tony

Welcome to the forum and thanks for posting.

At least it looks like we are going to get the win tonight and hopefully start to reverse the malaise of recent weeks

cheers Dave

As they say Mike, sometimes the best way to illustrate a point is to exaggerate the point.

The 3,000 or so supporters up at St James' Park this afternoon are obviously coping pretty well with the sense of doom and gloom, and clinging to a sense of loyalty and optimism by their finger nails!

(Only having a bit of fun - but, in football, things are never quite as bad, or good, as supporters believe.)

A Newcastle fan yesterday apparently said Town took twice s many fans as the scum did to St James Park and that despite our dire display, the Tractor Boys were an absolute credit to ITFC.

once again the yo-yo form continues ,we are going nowhere . start building a proper squad for next year, current form , loss of good players will lead to our demise.
