Tell you what, Berra will know he's been in a game o' fitbaw after that game. A Hearts "scalp" would be huge for Forfar and they'll be up for it.

That's proper Scottish Cup revenge over Formartine.

6-1 last night at Easter Road in Europa Qualifier for the Hibs. Only Runavik from the Faroes, but was still a nice performance.

Yes mate we owed them gits !! Watching the highlights of the 3 games it looks like we are playing some decent stuff, could be a surprise package.

Thought of you as Hibs kept banging the goals in, a good confidence booster whoever it's against.

Yes......, but, “arsehole fan attack on players” syndrome started as early as July 12th!! Last night, we heard some clown say, “Only 6 past a Faroes team, fkn shockin Hibs!”

And he wasn’t joking. That’s the scary bit.

Oh dear. That was a bit of a thumping. :(

It'll no doubt make them even more prepared for the forthcoming "Angus League One" season.

Win is a win though, did you go Marko ?

We absolutely killed Falkirk Tuesday evening at their place, missed penalty, hit woodwork twice, Two or Three other chances and all that in the first half, only to lose Two sloppy second half goals. That is Three League One sides we've outplayed now, I quietly fancy us this season.

Na man, was in the Faroe Islands......, I do love the Hibs......., but not that much!

What about mid - end september for the Loons?

15th Arbroath
22nd Brechin
29th Montrose

 Three weeks worth of derbies. Don't think you'll be able to express to fellow Ipswich supporters just how bloody exciting that is.

That is some group of fixtures for sure, Montrose have started so well, I hope it is us and them that are top dogs, I bloody hate the other Two.

That penalties result was almost Eric Morecambes favourite joke!
Forfar 5 East Fife 4!

It’s great saying that fast.

East Fife 5 Forfar so far 4!
 Superb

This was mentioned on another board just recent, but the score is in reverse order. Fife should score five, the other four : that it materialized the other way round doesn't warrant a celebratory score. Furthermore it was a shoot out result, not an actual ninety minute contest.

Still waiting for the elusive Fife 5 Forfar 4 outcome, over a normal course of game even better. Prior events have not arguably covered it.

I wouldn’t know if the result ever happened, and I have to think that Mike does know......, but I do know that it was Eric Morecambe who planted the seed. (LOVE Eric Morecambe..... his stuff will never date)

But Saint, you need to get it right, man....... it’s EAST Fife! Those fkrs in the East Neuk of Fife are a different bunch. Totally!

In the 1937/38 season, there was a Forfar 3, East Fife 5; in 1963/64, a Forfar 5, East Fife 4 (Morecambe’s joke has East Fife being the home team, with their score read first); there have been assorted 3-3 draws; and in 2011/12 there was an East Fife 4, Forfar 3.

Yep and the Glebe Parkers lose 7-1 @ home?

Arbroath spanking Ross County 4-1? Could be them and the Loons for top Angus club. John Baird certainly looks like he’s going to be decent this season.

It’s definitely going to be one of those leagues that you must stay away from in terms of betting. I mean how Montrose go to Airdrie and win is a head scratcher and a coupon burster. If anything, a banker draw for the 4 draws bet.

A nice wee song was sung for the Glebe Parkers on Radio Scotland’s Sportsound last night...... first win since April 2017! I’m going to bet you wouldn’t have joined in on the sing-song, Mike!

John Baird? Top League One scorer come May ‘19?

Were they singing....

" what's it like to win a game , what's it like to win a game"

Useless pile of sh*te lol.

You said John Baird would score goals in this division, it's so annoying that we dominated Airdrie for 80 minutes last week only to implode, I still think we are gonna be dark horses

Did you see they got English teams participating in the early rounds of the League Cup there. For instance Sutton United overcame Airdrieonians at their own stadium and Borehamwood had a game with Dunfermline. Seems a number of non-league clubs were asked to join up and they were the only two who took up the offer.

Could be a scenario of Celtic playing away at Sutton (1989 and all that comes to mind) but seems unlikely they'll be paired up. First instance you can remember of such a thing although seems those conference teams did alright for themselves against opposition they wouldn't usually be familiar with.

They introduced Welsh teams a few years back, Forfar actually played TNS not long ago, the powers that be then wanted to add Irish and English teams, Two from each country, I believe the original Two declined allowing Boreham Wood and Sutton to take their places.

No one cares about the Challenge Cup in Scotland. Even when Hibs were in the Championship, Stubbs played a team of 16 year olds....... didn’t give a flying f*ck. Equivalent to the English Checkatrade Trophy ——> fk off, no one cares.

Arbroath v Forfar this week? That’s arguably the Loons first big test of the season. Should be a fiery affair.

It's gonna be a tough one for sure, not a lot of love lost between the two clubs following that fuckwit d*ck Campbells antics in nicking half our team two seasons back.

We will be fine mate, still only a point off the pkay offs and just had Raith and Arbroath away, 4th is our target and easily unachievable. Easier games to come
