I think the guy selling the scarves at the St Andrews home end also has some magic mushrooms for sale. He apparently has all the details about the vampires and invisible automobiles. Make sure and speak to him BEFORE you’re 25quid pizza slice....... garlic on the breath and he’s OFF!

"The St Andrews Trillion Trophy Stadium" ? Seriously, what the f*ck is happening with that. Saw it a moment ago, had no idea they'd changed it to that label. Always be St Andrews to everyone, quit that bullshit and keep it as it should be.
Even Milan, Madrid, Munich and (regrettably) Liverpool together could not warrant such a venue. Anyway, enough of that and voted in time for a tie this afternoon. Both teams have got their problems and hardly present a global spectacle for enterprising "football" so shared points it is.
Gerken, Pennington, Chambers, Nsiala, Skuse, Knudsen, Chalobah, Edwards, Ward, Nolan, Jackson. Bench Donacien, Sears, Graham, Downes, Dozzell, Bialkowski, Edun.
That's the starting squad I got so leave it at that we'll be underway in a short time. Don't expect Millwall, Hull Tigers or Preston to win their respective games so a victory here can take us out the relegation zone all said. Unfortunately a point is essentially best guess here.

Not a great line up IMO. Donacien still out with presumably Pennington playing out of position. Ward and Nolan still in with Edun on the bench and ...Dozzell! He’s gotta get on today

Prefer Donacien at RB... but Pennington should be steady there.
Nolan’s a lucky boy. Now hopefully got Dozzell breathing down his neck. I feel Edun’s been unlucky, but at least no chopping and changing.

Only one Johnny Nolan.
Really good finish from Noles. Never doubted him

I would have dropped Nolan and preferred Donacien to Pennington. Trust in Paul.
Lovely finish from Nolan.
Been lucky though. Gerks helped us out with a double save in the 4 th minute and so did the post. Knudsen cleared of the line.
Let’s get these 3 points.

Awful first 10 minutes when we could have been behind but on top last 25 mins of half. Great strike from Nolan and the second from a set piece !!!! Still a way to go though. Pennington, Nsiala and Chalobah had good halves.

I anticipated a draw, but, bloody hell.
Awful first ten minutes, really good next 30 minutes, dreadful second half. I just don't know what to think at this stage.

Sounds like we were lucky to draw in the end. Still seems like 3 points lost though. Can’t wait for mikes report

Bloody disappointing after 2-0 up at HT.
Their first goal after 3 minutes in the second half just after we had a good oopurtunity with a free kick.
In the end..youve got to settle for the point.

Eagerly await the report to read what the absolute fk is going on at the club.

Well i never!! On a stag day, came out of paintballing just in time to put radio suffolk on , happpy days,2-0 up, come on town!!! But what i listened to for 45 mins was just awful. Knudson had a mare, chalobahs name got mentioned folliwed by, hes given it away. Was skuse on second half as i didnt even hear his name. Keystone cop defending between chambers and nsiala. Good save from gerkin, then p*ss poor puch which gives them the second goal. Edun again an unused sub. Even i am starting to wonder what hurst is up too, is he too stubbon to play edun, dozzell finally makes the bench but gets no game time, was his inclusion to the bench to keep the wolves away?? So many questions, lets wait for the dross that now comes out.

Really poor second half, Nolan f*ck up gifted them the first and poor defending the second. Some super saves from Gerken saved the point in the end. Deffo Two points dropped. Frustrating journey home

Hurst wants to topple R k's bloody record..what was it 18 games without a win..He's not right for this club.. p*ss off & get someone who can keep us up..Selling off our best strickers & replacing them with league one quality was a gamble to far.I don't care if they wanted to go ,they should of been replaced.

Should never have been appointed but I guess we’re stuck with him for a while yet. There’s no point turning against him that can only make things worse.

Re: Birmingham City vs Ipswich Town Preview & Matchday Thread
Holy sh*t, I’ve just looked at our five October fixtures and don’t see too many points there, maybe five at the most.
Middlesbrough (H) - draw
Swansea City (A) - lose
QPR (H) - our first win ?
Leeds United (A) - lose
Millwall (A) - draw
That would give us 11 points from 15 games which would almost certainly be relegation form.
At least November looks easier with three home games and only one away, that’s if he’s still here of course.

Re: Birmingham City vs Ipswich Town Preview & Matchday Thread
Losing a 2-0 lead in the manner that we did could have a devastating impact on morale. The longer we go without a win the harder it will be to achieve.
A team at the bottom of the league is always going to be anxious the longer it is in the basement. A 2-0 lead at half time was a golden opportunity. Conceding so early in the second half knocked the stuffing out of us. We're lucky we didn't lose it in the end.
We now have mounting problems. We have a number of players not good enough for this level. We have a manager who looks increasingly out of his depth and who is reduced to uttering nonsensical platitudes to the press.
We have a team that doesn't score many goals and that, even when it does manage to nick a couple, freezes at the prospect of a win. That lack of confidence and inability to close out the game will only get worse.
Things are looking pretty grim for the rest of October. Not a good time for us I'm afraid.
