Never thought I would be pleased he is staying. At the minute he’s our only player who looks like scoring....! Not really the answer next season if we miraculously stay up but in league 1 he would tear it up (I hope).

We should benefit next season from his league 1 experience 
TBH He`s improved and and prolific goal scorer playing along side him should make him shine even more.,

A good honest player who gives 100% everytime. He actually works harder at defending than bloody Knudesn does , (who I think we should sell or just guve away), the pratt that he is.

I have no problem with him staying, what I have a problem with is if we go into the new year with Sears as our main striker we are without question doomed

I dont think Paul Lambert will allow that to happen Mike although to be honest his options may be limited.

To be fair, should we go down we already have plenty of players in the squad with experience of being at the pointy end of League 1, showing they could score a few!

It's adequate, nothing more. Best chance of goal/s we got right now amid one or two other options that contribute nowhere near enough.
The team needs reinforcements in attack that much is obvious to anybody. We're not going to pay out substantial amounts in the next transfer opportunity but at least find one or two names that are deemed reliable or can partner Sears up front to aid the situation the club finds itself in.
