Hopefully he recovers and pursues his career as far away from PR as possible. Apart from his hatrick on his debut what has he ever done?

No great loss but a drain on the payroll which ME can’t now offload.

I don't get to see the team in live action as some others but acknowledge Grant Ward has failed to live up to expectation since coming in. Started off well enough, made a name for himself so to speak and could argue has at times been a valuable inclusion to a starting line-up but as of late seems to be part of the team set-up that contributes little or merely a name on the team sheet that while expectant, is of no real value with his continued participation.

No offense to the player but his omission from subsequent games and line-ups will be of no great loss to many who have witnessed the fall from previous stature.
