Re: Lambert pays for Blackburn travel costs
Another gesture that in and of itself is probably small beer to the man himself, but .................
He keeps thinking about them and he keeps doing them, and all these small things build up and stay in the minds of those he is touching.
You can just see the culture of the club changing before your eyes.
I know we don't want League 1 football, but IF it happens and once the initial shock goes it would appear that we could be in for an enjoyable and hopefully a great time with a team having fun and playing football we want to watch with a manager who seems to be trying his utmost to win hearts and minds and take the fans with him with a smile on their faces.

He certainly knows how to get the fans onside. I’m not sure what his salary is but that must have cost him the best part of his weekly pay.

I’d assumed we had more than one coach of travelling fans Derek.

It doesn't matter if it cost him 10 pence, he's made a gesture, something I haven't seen ITFC, McCarthy, Hurst, Keane, Jewell, Burley, Magilton etc etc etc ever do.
