Town will probably lose - let’s be honest - not that I wouldn’t love us grabbing a point or even three.

Bart back in goal and Kenlock playing he did not deserve to be dropped.

Decent line up but still unsure where a goal will come from.

And...
Rotherham are beating Leeds ffs
And, just at the moment, Norwich are top.
Happy days

Hopeless. We get the left back slot sorted and bring back a keeper who stays f**king rooted to his line allowing them to score. Doomed.

Would love to know how many penalties we have given this season
Bet its either most or very close to have conceded in a season. Its crazy amount.
Sounds like we are better though, giving it a go

Gave it a go for 15 mins and had them rocking, one of the post was unlucky, could have been 2-2 but overall didnt do enough to justify a point from the game. Lambert got it wrong with Quaner today, he made a big difference when he came on and should have started.

Just seen highlights Bart should of come for the ball for the first goal penalty looked harsh we could of had penalty when Quaners effort was cleared off line with a arm.. Bart made some good saves Sears goal was excellent and Chalabah hit the outside of the post.

Okay, not for the first time have said decisions are not going our way. TWO big game changing decisions and both went against us.
According to some we were the better team on the day. They are saying their penalty was not one and the one the ref denied was for us. If that's the case then their player be sent off also for handball on the line. These are huge decisions, season changers
Its not the first time this season we seem to be on of some very strange decisions

Decisions did go against us but whoever thinks we were the better team on the day needs help. We got what we deserved

He is agreeing with me, decisions went against us but he doesn't say anywhere that we were the better team cus apart from 15 mins in the second half we weren't, created absolutely nothing first half either.

He did say it Mike, although several people I know who were at the game have stated the same as you.

His judgment is clearly clouded by the decisions that went against us.

Can only say what i heard and the few clips have seen. Thing is though those are game changing decisions the Ref made.
Whether played well, poorly or in between, whether deserved anything from the game or not, "IF" those decisions were incorrect then that cost us

90 second clips are one thing, what you don't see is 65 mins of nothing, we didn't do anything in that time, we only played well for 15 minutes which coincided with Quaner coming on. Yes the key decisions went against us and yes we could by some miracle have nabbed a point but the point I am making is over the 90 minutes our performance deserved nothing.

Re: Aston Villa vs Ipswich Town Preview & Matchday Thread
Have only seen highlights so hard to ascertain the bigger picture, but regards the senior match official - I won't label him an incompetent pr*ck - that was a poor standard of refereeing by anyone given such duties.
Their penalty was an insult, the Aston Villa player must have got hit by an elephant gun it was so theatrical - and how the f*ck did we not get one of our own when one of the opposition players so blatantly handled the ball ? Sears had a very good strike and there seemed enthusiasm from our players but once again it's (taken) from limited viewing.
People will insist Lambert is the answer and the right choice but seriously, results haven't improved and each and every time I seem to report on a Town loss or similar scenario. Believe it's two wins all season and both of those had an element of fortune to it. While today the team may have shown improvement, it's another setback although believe other team scores in the vicinity were favorable. Frustrating day in all sense, could ideally have taken something from the trip but an amateur standard of officiating (for one thing) has cost the team dear. Still every chance the club can survive, not everyone has given up yet, far from it.

Ok, you made your point. No reason to keep going on about it. Been 100's of games teams win when not deserving. Luck of the green and we don't seem to be getting much good luck..Bluemike wrote: ↑Sat Jan 26, 2019 10:30 pm90 second clips are one thing, what you don't see is 65 mins of nothing, we didn't do anything in that time, we only played well for 15 minutes which coincided with Quaner coming on. Far as results improving, he can only manage what he has at his disposal. end of the story the squad is not good enough. If don't have the personal going to struggle. Bringing in players we have this month isn't going to change much. Too little too late.

At least Leeds United turned it around and nothing has really changed, (except less games)
Still clinging on.
